Our Story
Founded by local resident Abdus Shahid, Herts Cupping was born from a simple observation: high-quality recovery therapy shouldn't require a long journey. For years, St Albans residents traveled to East London for professional Hijama or struggled with subpar local alternatives.
In January 2023, we launched to bridge that gap. Due to rapid demand for a sterile, professional space, we opened our permanent St Albans clinic in November 2023. Our mission shifted from just providing a service to setting a new standard for clinical hygiene and patient care in Hertfordshire.
We soon realised that cupping was only half the story. To offer truly elite recovery, we introduced IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation). By combining these rare techniques, we provide a level of soft-tissue care usually reserved for professional athletes, right here in our local community.
