Hijama (Wet Cupping)
Targeted wet cupping to release pressure, support circulation and address tension that standard massage may not reach. Most clients start with Signature Hijama.
Starter Hijama
Small, targeted areas only. Up to 5 cups.
Best for: First-time clients, Sunnah-day Hijama, focused short sessions.
Signature Hijama
Full assessment. Tailored points. Up to 10 cups.
Best for: Targeted tension, localised discomfort and general wellbeing.
Advanced Hijama
Extended coverage across multiple areas.
Best for: Returning clients, extensive coverage, long-standing tension.
If your issue feels muscular, training-related or keeps returning, a Sports Recovery session may be more suitable. These combine cupping, muscle scraping and manual therapy, with Hijama available where appropriate.

Sports Recovery Sessions
For gym recovery, tight muscles, training-related stiffness and areas that need more than standard massage. Combining cupping, muscle scraping and manual therapy, with Hijama available as an add-on.
Targeted Recovery Session
60 mins. Cupping, deep tissue and IASTM on one focus area. No Hijama.
Best for: One problem area. Tight hamstrings, calves, glutes, lower back, shoulders or upper-back tightness from training or desk posture.
Targeted Recovery + Hijama
60 mins. Hijama, cupping, deep tissue and IASTM on one focus area.
Best for: Training-related tightness or recurring tension where you also want Hijama on the same area.
Full Body Recovery
90 mins. Full-body cupping, deep tissue and IASTM. No Hijama.
Best for: Athletes, regular gym-goers, runners, lifters. Heavy legs, multiple tight areas, full-body recovery between sessions.
Full Body Recovery + Hijama
90 mins. Hijama plus full-body cupping, deep tissue and IASTM.
Best for: Long-standing stiffness, training load across multiple areas, complex restriction, full-body recovery with Hijama.
If your legs feel heavy, your lower back tightens after sessions, or your shoulders never feel fully free, a targeted recovery session may be more suitable than another standard massage. Cupping lifts. Scraping targets. Manual therapy finishes the job.

Best for: Muscular tension, gym recovery, first-timers unsure about wet cupping.
Traditional Fire Cupping
Glass cupping using thermal heat to support circulation and ease stiffness.

Why We Take Our Time
Your body has been carrying tension for months. It deserves more than a 30-minute slot.
Most cupping and massage clinics work to the clock. Two clients an hour, shared rooms, fixed routines. We work the other way. Every session at Herts Cupping starts with a proper consultation, runs as long as your body needs, and is delivered by one practitioner in a private clinical setting from start to finish.
That's why people travel from across Hertfordshire to come here. Not for the modality. For the time, the attention, and the result.

EXCELLENT Based on 57 reviews Posted on Fung PoTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had cupping therapy and the graston muscle scraping for gym recovery and lower back stiffness. Really professional service which is VERY rare in Hertfordshire and the session felt properly tailored.Posted on KayTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ve had cupping sessions in Watford, Harrow and Stanmore before, but after a cousin suggested Hertfordshire Cupping, I thought I’d give it a try — and I’m really glad I did. I’m based in Hemel Hempstead, so it was a convenient option, but what really stood out was Brother Shahid’s expertise and knowledge. He clearly knows what he’s doing and takes the time to explain everything, which made me feel comfortable and confident throughout the session. On top of that, he’s a genuinely nice and humble brother, which made the whole experience even better. I’d highly recommend Hertfordshire Cupping to family and friends, and I’ll definitely be returning.Posted on Haroon HanifTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Common Questions
Things People Ask Before Booking
The five most common questions before a first session. For everything else, message us on WhatsApp.
Does Hijama hurt?+
Most clients describe it as a mild scratch, similar to a quick blood test. The cups create gentle suction, not pain. We talk you through every step before starting and adjust as we go. First-timers usually leave saying it was easier than they expected.
How long does a session take?+
Hijama sessions run 30 to 60 minutes depending on the option you choose. Recovery sessions with cupping massage and IASTM run 60 to 90 minutes. Allow an extra 10 to 15 minutes at the start for consultation if it's your first visit.
How do I know what to book?+
First time or general tension: Signature Hijama. Tightness that keeps coming back: Targeted Recovery + Hijama. Multiple areas or long-term issues: Full Body Recovery + Hijama. Or take the 60-second guide and we'll point you to the right session.
Is the equipment really single use?+
Yes. Every cup, blade and disposable used during your wet cupping session is single use and opened in front of you. After the session, all clinical waste is disposed of through certified medical waste channels. No exceptions, no reuse.
Can I drive after a session?+
Most clients drive home fine. After wet cupping, some feel slightly tired or lightheaded for a short period, so we recommend resting briefly and drinking water before leaving. If you have a long drive, plan to take 10 to 15 minutes after your session before setting off.
Not sure what to book?
Send a WhatsApp message and we'll guide you to the right session. Or book straight away if you already know what you need.
