Best for: Pain that standard cupping or massage hasn't fully shifted.
Full Body Cupping Massage
90 mins. Full body cupping, deep tissue and IASTM. No Hijama.
Best for: Full coverage without Hijama, extended recovery.
Full Body Hijama + Massage
90 mins. Hijama plus full body cupping, deep tissue and IASTM.
Best for: Long-standing stiffness, complex restriction, full-body recovery.
Common Questions
What's the difference between cupping massage and IASTM?+
Looking for muscle scraping (IASTM)?+
Standalone Cupping
A lighter option if you do not need Hijama or full recovery work. Cupping without incisions, ideal for first-timers or general tension.
Clinical Dry Cupping
Static suction to release tension and increase mobility. No incisions.
Best for: Muscular tension, gym recovery, first-timers unsure about wet cupping.
Traditional Fire Cupping
Glass cupping using thermal heat to penetrate stiffness and stimulate blood flow.
Best for: Deep chronic stiffness and cold weather aches.
Many clients start with dry cupping, then progress to Hijama once familiar with how their body responds. We will guide you through the right next step.

Common Questions
Things People Ask Before Booking
Straight answers from our St Albans clinic. If yours is not here, message us on WhatsApp.
Does Hijama hurt?+
Most clients describe it as a mild scratch, similar to a quick blood test. The cups create gentle suction, not pain. We talk you through every step before starting and adjust as we go. First-timers usually leave saying it was easier than they expected.
How long does a session take?+
Hijama sessions run 30 to 60 minutes depending on the option you choose. Recovery sessions with cupping massage and IASTM run 60 to 90 minutes. Allow an extra 10 to 15 minutes at the start for consultation if it is your first visit.
How often should I come?+
It depends on why you are coming. For ongoing pain or tension, many clients return every 4 to 6 weeks. For Sunnah practice, monthly Hijama on the recommended Sunnah days is common. For sports recovery, frequency varies with training load. We will recommend a sensible plan during your consultation.
Is the equipment really single use?+
Yes, every cup, blade, and disposable used during your wet cupping session is single use and opened in front of you. After the session, all clinical waste is disposed of through certified medical waste channels. No exceptions, no reuse.
Is Hijama halal?+
Yes. Hijama is a Sunnah practice with multiple authentic narrations from the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Many of our clients book Hijama for both physical wellbeing and Sunnah observance. Female practitioner available for ladies upon request.
What should I wear?+
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. Depending on the area being treated, you may need to remove or adjust upper layers. We provide privacy and clean towels for coverage throughout the session. Modesty is respected at all times.
Can I drive after a session?+
Most clients drive home fine. After wet cupping, some feel slightly tired or lightheaded for a short period, so we recommend resting briefly and drinking water before leaving. If you have a long drive, plan to take 10 to 15 minutes after your session before setting off.
When should I avoid Hijama?+
Hijama may not be suitable if you are pregnant, taking blood thinners, have uncontrolled diabetes, a blood disorder, an active fever, recent surgery, or any acute medical condition. Always check with your GP if unsure. We complete a safety screen before every session and may recommend medical clearance if needed.
