Been looking for some natural stress relief therapy for quite some time and randomly came across this Hijama Cupping therapy. It was really explained well to me, the setup was very professional in the clinic and I cannot believe how much relief I found after the sessions. I was finding it difficult to sleep and was sleeping like a baby for the first few days. The sound of it was really scary, but it was nothing more than a slight scratch, nothing compared to the pains I went through with Tattoos and it healed up really quickly. Have been telling all my family and friends about this. Some are not convinced, but I will definitely be back for more in the future.

Shahid helped me with my recovery with my hamstring but he recommends the best course of action. For example, I initially asked for hijama for my hamstring but he advised a targeted recovery session would be more helpful for my needs. He also gave me gym exercises to help with recovery. After the session I noticed my issue subsided. He’s really friendly and I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. Top class service.

I had an excellent experience at this cupping centre professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire session The clinic was very clean and hygienic and everything was explained clearly before the treatment. I left feeling relaxed, refreshed and much better. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality cupping therapy.

What a session can include

Massage first. Extra methods only where they help.

Every session is built on hands-on deep tissue work. If an area needs a different approach, we explain the option before using it, and you can always keep it massage-only.

The foundation

Deep tissue massage

Firm, slow pressure into tight muscles and knots, adjusted throughout. Strong without turning the session into a pain test.

Suction

Dry cupping

Cups lift and stretch tight tissue rather than pressing into it. Useful where more pressure isn’t helping. No scratches, no blood.

Precision tool

Muscle scraping (IASTM)

Smooth steel tools work along stubborn, stuck areas such as the upper back, IT band or calves.

Warm-up and finish

Percussion therapy

A professional massage gun warms larger muscles before deeper work and settles them at the end.

Prefer it lighter?

Lighter, relaxing pressure

Want to unwind rather than have deep work? Tell us and we’ll keep the pressure light to medium with no tools.

Optional

Hijama in the same visit

Choose a Deep Tissue + Hijama session to add wet cupping. What is Hijama?

Who it’s for

Most people book for one of these reasons.

Desk, driving and work

Back, neck and shoulders

Long hours at a desk or behind the wheel load the same areas every day. A focused 60-minute session gives them proper time. Neck and shoulder tension

Gym, running and sport

Legs, hips and training soreness

Searching for a sports massage? Our deep tissue sessions are built around training load, with cupping and scraping where useful. Sports massage in St Albans

Massage hasn’t lasted

The same area keeps tightening

If regular massage only helps for a day or two, combining hands-on work with cupping or scraping gives the area a different input. Why tightness comes back

Tense all over

Whole-body tension and stress

When tension is everywhere rather than one spot, a 90-minute Full Body Deep Tissue session usually works better than a 60. Pain and tension guide

What to expect

Your first appointment, step by step.

01

Quick consultation

We ask where it’s tight, what you do day to day and anything health-related we should know.

02

Agree the plan

We tell you which areas we’ll work and whether cupping or scraping would help. You decide.

03

Treatment

Deep tissue work with pressure adjusted as we go. Speak up at any point.

04

Aftercare

Simple advice for the next 24 to 48 hours, and you can message us with any questions.

Before you book

Message us before booking if you’re pregnant, take blood-thinning medication, have a bleeding disorder, diabetes, a skin condition in the area, or a recent injury or operation. Sudden, severe or worsening pain, numbness, weakness or swelling needs a GP, NHS 111 or A&E first, not a massage appointment.

Before you book

Deep tissue massage questions.

Do you offer sports massage?

Yes. Our deep tissue sessions cover what most people want from a sports massage: firm work on the muscles that take the load from training, with cupping, scraping or percussion where useful. See sports massage in St Albans.

How hard is deep tissue massage?

Firm, but it shouldn’t be agony. We work slowly into tight areas and adjust the pressure throughout. Tell us at any point if you want it lighter or stronger.

Should I book 60 or 90 minutes?

Book 60 minutes for one main area, such as your back or your neck and shoulders. Book 90 minutes if several areas need work or you want a full body session.

Do I have to have cupping or scraping?

No. The session can stay massage-only. Other methods are only used if they suit the area and you’re happy to try them.

Can I have a relaxing massage instead?

Yes. Book either session and tell us you’d like lighter, relaxing pressure. We’ll leave the tools out.

Can I add Hijama to my massage?

Yes. Choose a Deep Tissue + Hijama session: 60 minutes with up to 5 Hijama cups, or 90 minutes with up to 10.

Is there a discount for follow-up sessions?

Yes. If you come back within 8 weeks for the same or a related area, follow-up prices start at £60. Message us to arrange it.

Where are you and when are you open?

6B St Brelades Place, St Albans, AL4 9RG, with free parking. Open 7 days, 10:30am to 10:30pm, by appointment.
